Butterfly Rock Golf Club
Butterfly Rock Golf Club was set up in April 2006 to cater for Hua Hin and district residents and long term visitors, it was decided at the outlet that we would have 60 members so that we had a small manageable group of golfers, who could enjoy the company of each other at our events and that we would be called a Golf Club so that there was no confusion with Hua Hin Golf Society. We expected to reach the total of 60 members in a year, however we have nearly achieved that number in 6 months.

The club operate basically from Butterfly Rock Pub in Soi Sarawat, commonly known as Soi Hotpot, however 90% of our communication is on the website: www.butterflyrock.net You will find a list of fixtures, click a fixture and up comes a booking form to book tee times at our events, click view result alongside a previous event and up will come the winners etc. Page down and you will find the order of merit, at the top and bottom of the page is information, top about the club, bottom about what is happening in the near future.

To join the club, you will need to complete an application form, be proposed and seconded by 2 members, produce a valid handicap certificate and a small photo (1"x1") and joining fee of 1000 Baht plus annual subs 500 Baht. Application forms are available from Butterfly Rock Pub, and when completed they can be returned to a committee member of to Butterfly Rock. If you return them to Butterfly Rock, seal them in an envelope and sign over the seal, a) for security, and b) the committee will know who it is from. The Club have their competitions on a Wednesday and play at various courses in the area and occasionally outside the area, every week is a different format including qualifying formats for handicapping purposes and fun team games. We are a recognised handicapping authority, using the CONGU handicapping system recognised anywhere in the world. We also have 2 roll ups each week at Lake View on Mondays and Palm Hills on Fridays. We accept guests of members, but to play in the competition or roll up, you must produce a valid handicap certificate.
